Courses
Over the years English First has made huge investments in developing the very best in teaching courses and materials. Popular with teachers and students alike, the courses offered are aimed at specific age groups (4-6yrs, 7-10yrs, 11-14yrs,15-18yrs, adults and business English). Within each age group, students are placed in a suitable level according to their English ability, resulting in no ‘mixed level’ classes. Courses are accompanied by a wide range of supplementary materials, from flashcards, posters and handouts to CD’s, videos, songs and computer applications, essential for teachers to deliver varied, motivating classes.

On-going professional development
On-going training is seen as essential for the development of all teachers. Director of Studies offer academic support, training workshops and seminars, structured feedback and performance appraisals. Teachers are also encouraged to share ideas and materials and make use of extensive teaching libraries.
Applicants will need to have a degree and/or a credible TEFL certificate. Ideally, we are looking for teachers from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa and other near-native English speakers. Previous teaching experience is an advantage, however plenty of training and support is given to new teachers.
